The War on Heaven

Waged by the First Caliph and Suleiman. The two secured a vital weapon in mankind’s favor: the ability to punish and kill a god.

The Dyad is a spiritual thing, inherent to the main eight, each of whom involved some lore with a god-like being. It is the sticker that allows its bearer to use the Pact of Solomon, effectively. The Caliph needs to find people with the Dyad in order to use the Pact; the Caliph himself bears the Dyad with the Beast.

The First Caliph mutilated the Angel — the daughter of the Spider and the Beast — to create the seven angels: satellites that each contain a part of her. Her brain and head became the Machine, guarded by All-Saints; the two are a two-hemisphere situation, genderless being vibes.

The Beast is chained by the Machine and monitored by the Three Kings, to ensure he doesn’t get out. He is angry at humanity for making his wife go bonkers.

The First Caliph’s gauntlet is dubbed the Hand of the Tyrant. He shoved his hand into the gears to his side and time stopped, held there while he exposited. When he ripped his hand out, time started skipping as a gear slipped. He slammed it back into place, and time went as normal.
