The Angel

The daughter of the Spider and the Beast. She was chopped into eight parts — two wings, two legs, two arms, one torso, and a head — then stuffed into the machines and sent into orbit, with the Powers instated in case they ever fall.

Her brain and head are the Machine. The First Caliph mutilated her to create the seven angels — satellites that each contain a part of her.
