Going to be honest. Combat is very difficult to manage with large parties. We WILL, as a group, have to ensure combat goes quick or people disengage. So, how will I do this? Timers. You should be already deciding your turn. For the spell-casters, taking 10 minutes to read a spell you should be (kinda) familiar with or have the reference open isn’t a good idea. For highly specced builds you should have your effect-chain prepped. If you forget a mechanic you invoked or dice or anything of the sort I will not allow you to ‘well, actually’ me and add it in to preserve the speed of the game.

Please MAKE SURE you have your actions prepped and decided upon BEFORE your turn so that you can narrate your character actions while you have the spotlight!. Combat is a way you can not only express yourself but have some fun character acting as well. Quip, say things, combat’s a song and dance rather than a number’s game. If you’re entertaining (and trying your best) during a fight I will give you an inspiration token if I’m impressed.
