Railgun
Ranged weapon (railgun), rare
Cost: — | Weight: 15 lb. | Damage: 1d10 thunder Properties: Range (100/400), Heavy, Charge, Two-Handed Mastery: Push
This weapon deals 1d10 + Dexterity modifier thunder damage.
Charge. As a bonus action, you can expend one spell slot to charge the weapon with additional magical power. The next time you hit a creature with an attack using this weapon before the end of your turn, the attack deals extra thunder damage: 2d6 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d6 for each spell level higher than 1st.
Additionally, a spellcaster can use their spellcasting ability modifier instead of Dexterity for the attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
Heavy. A Heavy weapon is too bulky for Small or Tiny creatures to use effectively. A Small or Tiny creature has Disadvantage on attack rolls with a Heavy weapon.
Range. A weapon that can be used to make a ranged attack has a range shown in parentheses after the ammunition or thrown property. The range lists two numbers. The first is the weapon’s normal range in feet, and the second indicates the weapon’s maximum range. When attacking a target beyond normal range, you have disadvantage on the attack roll. You can’t attack a target beyond the weapon’s long range.
Two-Handed. This property means a weapon requires two hands when you attack with it.
Mastery: Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet away from you in a straight line.
